Metallica: Some Kind of Monster is a 2004 American documentary film about American heavy metal band Metallica and the development of their 2003 album St. Anger. It shares its name with the song "Some Kind of Monster" from the album. The film won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Documentary Feature in 2005.
