This is an original, previously-folded, large size Japanese B1 movie poster from 1977 for the re-release of High and Low. This film is judged by many to be one of the best films ever made! This size is very rare for this film.

This poster is in near mint condition and been stored very carefully for 43 years. Please review the imagery as this is the exact poster that you will be purchasing.

Akira Kurosawa is a well-known director for his mind bobbling amazing samurai films, however he was far from a one trick pony. Kurosawa also had an incredible talent for concocting modern thrillers that are timeless.

High & Low stars Kurosawa’s brother-from-another-mother, Toshiro Mifune, as Kingo Gondo, a wealthy business exec (erai hito 偉い人)who is targeted by a ice cold kidnapper! Kurosawa has again successfully adapted a foreign film basing this on Ed McBain’s detective novel “King’s Ransom”.

Certificate of Authenticity is included.
