This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1971 for the domestic re-release of Ebirah, Horror of the Deep (Japan, 1966)—also known in Japan as Godzilla, Ebirah, Mothra: Big Duel in the South Seas—directed by Jun Fukuda for Toho, with special effects from the Tsuburaya team. 1970s Toho revival sheets are highly collectible.

Film background
Shipwrecked youths discover a terrorist island factory protected by the colossal sea crustacean Ebirah. To save the captives—and themselves—they awaken Godzilla; soon Mothra joins for a three-monster showdown set against tropical vistas and spy-thriller intrigue. A lively Showa-era adventure with Masaru Satō’s jazzy score.

Poster design
A spectacular battle tableau: Godzilla breathes fire as Ebirah claws from the surf and Mothra swoops overhead; jets streak past, explosions roar, and sea spray bursts at the foreground.
