This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1987 for the first release of Akira.
Japanese B1 (71 x 100 cm, 27.8 x 39.4 in) very large size.
In our many years, we have only seen one other copy of this poster which had some condition issues such as pinholes. We are honoured to present this mint condition cult collectible.
Akira (Japanese: アキラ) is a 1988 Japanese animated post-apocalyptic cyberpunk action film directed by Katsuhiro Otomo, produced by Ryōhei Suzuki and Shunzō Katō, and written by Otomo and Izo Hashimoto, based on Otomo's 1982 manga of the same name.
