Returns and Refunds
Japan Poster Shop takes pride in our unique packaging method of multiple paper, cardboard and bubble wrap protective layers to secure your purchase. We expect that your order will arrive in perfect condition with the safe transportation of DHL Express. We hope that you will be delighted to receive your purchase. In the unlikely event that there is an issue with your order, please contact us as soon as possible to resolve the issue as soon as we can.
All products available on Japan Poster Shop are on “as is” basis. Please be sure to carefully examine the images on the website, or request for more images via email of the product you are interested in purchasing. If the product you receive is different from what you have ordered, or notice damage that you were not aware of, then please contact us immediately so that we can replace, or refund your purchase.
If your order has been damaged in shipment, all claims must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of merchandise. Evidence of the damage is required, such as a digital photograph of the damaged packaging, and contents within 48 hours of receipt of purchase. In such cases, the item(s) cannot be replaced, a refund will be issued. Orders cannot be cancelled by refusing to accept delivery.
If you opt for a replacement of your purchase, then you are responsible for the cost of return and handling of the goods. Please make sure that the goods are not damaged while in your possession and are returned in the condition they were received, fully insured and in the original packaging to Japan Poster Shop, please contact us for the return address. If the value of the goods returned by you is diminished by any amount as a result of the handling of those products by you beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the products, we may recover that amount from you by deducting it from any refund due to you.
Custom frames which we have made to your measurements and specifications cannot be returned for a refund, unless they have been incorrectly supplied.
Our cancellation and refund returns policy has been set in accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
If you are dissatisfied by our service for any reason and we have been unable to resolve your issue, you have the option of submitting your complaint via the EU's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform managed by the European Commission.
