"Ten Made Agare!! Doraemon" (Fly to the Sky!! Doraemon)
CoroCoro Comic / Shogakukan Promotional Poster
Issued for the premiere of Doraemon’s first feature film
This is an original B1-size (approx. 103 × 73 cm) Japanese poster from 1980, created to promote the explosive rise of Doraemon across television, film, and manga. Issued by Shogakukan to support both the long-running CoroCoro Comic manga magazine and the debut of Doraemon’s first theatrical film, Doraemon: Nobita's Dinosaur (released March 5, 1980), this poster is a landmark piece in the franchise’s history.
At the center, Doraemon is joyfully flying with a stylized koinobori (carp streamer) — symbolizing childhood wishes and optimism — while surrounded by Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo in dynamic, pop-art style illustration. The border is composed of full-colour anime film cells, highlighting scenes, gags, and gadgets that helped make Doraemon a national sensation.
The large text at the bottom promotes the CoroCoro Comic publication, with the bright yellow sticker-style callout on the right announcing the premiere date of the film:
「3月5日 映画ドラ 大公開!!」 ("March 5 – Big Doraemon Movie Premiere!!")
