This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1960 for Nagisa Ōshima’s breakout Cruel Story of Youth, starring Miyuki Kuwano and Yūsuke Kawazu, with Yoshiko Kuga and Fumio Watanabe. A cornerstone of the Japanese New Wave, the film channels post-war teenage rebellion and the collision of desire and disillusion in Tokyo.
Design
