Framed Set of Two Ultra-Rare Japanese B5 Pamphlet Posters – Bus Stop (1956)
An exquisite framed pairing of two ultra-rare Japanese B5 promotional pamphlet covers for one of Marilyn Monroe’s most iconic performances — Bus Stop (1956).
Released in Japan under the title 「バス停留所」, these original promotional pieces were issued for screenings at the legendary Yūrakuza Theatre (有楽座) and are each stamped No. 56–16, denoting their original 1956 release.
- The left pamphlet features Monroe and co-star Don Murray in a sultry, theatrical studio pose — a quintessential image of 1950s Hollywood allure.
- The right pamphlet captures Monroe mid-performance in one of the film’s most memorable musical scenes, radiating the charisma and vulnerability that made Bus Stop a defining role in her career.
Both pieces are beautifully preserved and presented in a custom frame, allowing them to be admired as a unified tribute to Monroe’s dramatic breakthrough.
