"Ultraman" (ウルトラマン), Original Japanese First-Release Speed Poster 1979, Size 26 × 73 cm O458

This is an original Japanese speed poster (narrow theatre strip) printed in 1979 by Tsuburaya Productions for the nationwide spring roadshow of Ultraman. The headline copy at top reads 「3月ロードショー決定!! 圧倒的ファンの熱望に応えて完全映画化！」—announcing the big-screen release that answered fans’ demands. Speed posters were pasted up on cinema boards and along shopping arcades to push showtimes; survival rates are low compared with standard B2s.

Design
Bold black ground with a full-height hero pose of Ultraman and a small inset of the Spacium Ray stance. Electric pink-and-cyan 「ウルトラマン」 title lettering explodes across the foot, flanked by staff credits—pure late-’70s tokusatsu energy in a compact, eye-catching format.
