This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1954 for the first release of Seven Samurai. It is the very elusive "regional" (chihoban) style which was distributed for use in rural parts of Japan.

Seven Samurai is Kurosawa`s most famous film and has inspired western filmmakers for generations and will continue to do so for generations.
