This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1987 for the first release of Akira.
This is one of three Akira posters we acquired from the same source in the Kansai region of Japan. One of the posters is in near mint condition, this poster is in extremely good condition. It has a small pinhole in each corner.We have considered this when pricing.
Akira (Japanese: アキラ) is a 1988 Japanese animated post-apocalyptic cyberpunk action film directed by Katsuhiro Otomo, produced by Ryōhei Suzuki and Shunzō Katō, and written by Otomo and Izo Hashimoto, based on Otomo's 1982 manga of the same name.
