This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1978 for the theatrical feature of Science Ninja Team Gatchaman (科学忍者隊ガッチャマン), produced to celebrate Tatsunoko Production’s 6th anniversary.

First broadcast in 1972, Gatchaman became one of the most influential anime of its era, inspiring later series such as Battle of the Planets and G-Force. Combining superhero action with sci-fi themes, the story follows five young heroes — Ken the Eagle, Joe the Condor, Jun the Swan, Jinpei the Swallow, and Ryu the Owl — as they battle the evil organization Galactor, led by the enigmatic Berg Katse. Known for its team dynamics, bird-themed costumes, and environmental allegories, Gatchaman remains a cornerstone of anime history.
