Tadanori Yokoo (横尾 忠則, Yokoo Tadanori, born 27 June 1936) is a Japanese graphic designer, illustrator, printmaker and painter. Yokoo’s signature style of psychedelia and pastiche engages a wide span of modern visual and cultural phenomena from Japan and around the world.
Ken Takakura was a renowned Japanese actor, widely celebrated for his roles in both crime dramas and action films. Born on February 16, 1931, he became famous for his portrayal of tough, stoic characters, often in roles as yakuza (Japanese gangsters) or detectives. With a career spanning more than five decades, Takakura starred in numerous iconic films, such as The Wolves (1971) and Black Rain (1989), and became one of Japan's most beloved cinematic figures.
