This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1973 for the first release of Battles Without Honor and Humanity: Deadly Fight in Hiroshima.

This STB tatekan poster is very hard to find / impossible to find even in Japan.

Director Kinji Fukasaku`s Battles Without Honor or Humanity series revolutionized the Japanese Yakuza genre in the same way the The Godfather showed a completely new side of the mafia in the US.

Battles Without Honor and Humanity: Deadly Fight in Hiroshima (Japanese: 仁義なき戦い 広島死闘篇, Hepburn: Jingi Naki Tatakai: Hiroshima Shitō-hen), also known as Hiroshima Death Match, is a 1973 Japanese yakuza film directed by Kinji Fukasaku. It is the second film in a five-part series that Fukasaku made in a span of just two years. It is the only movie in the series not to focus on Bunta Sugawara's character Shozo Hirono; instead it follows the rise and fall of Shoji Yamanaka, played by Kinya Kitaoji.

This almost 5′ tall STB poster features fantastic artwork. The tatekan STB format had much lower print numbers compared to regular Japanese B2s. They are very rare, especially for more popular film titles, and are highly sought after by collectors today.

This poster is in a very good condition. Please refer to the imagery provided (both front and back) as this is the exact poster that is for sale.
