This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1984 for the first release of Godzilla.
Godzilla 1984 (Toho, 1984) Japanese B1 Poster (28.5" X 40.5"). For the 30th anniversary of filmdom's longest-running series, Toho decided to bring back Godzilla after a 10-year hiatus. To celebrate, they commissioned Noriyoshi Ohrai (famous "Star Wars" poster artist) to create this large size Teaser Poster only created in this large size and was quickly replaced by the regular style. Definitely one of the cornerstones of any "Godzilla" collection. The Japanese B1 Artwork teasers are extremely rare and are only made available to the largest theaters in Tokyo and are printed in much smaller quantities. They are usually only available for about a month before being replaced by the regular credits style B2 posters. (Source: Heritage Auctions)
