This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1965 for the first release of the legendary Goldfinger!
The 1964 classic British spy thriller Goldfinger based on the novel by Ian Fleming, produced by Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman, directed by Guy Hamilton and starring Sean Connery as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond, Honor Blackman as Bond Girl Pussy Galore, Gert Frobe as Auric Goldfinger, Shirley Eaton as the iconic Bond Girl Jill Masterson and Harold Sakata as Oddjob. Great illustration depicting James Bond holding a silenced pistol gun below a naked golden lady with two car racing by in the foreground and Goldfinger in bold blue text in the background, the title and credit text in colorful Japanese lettering below with the 007 gun image in gold yellow.
This poster is in an very good condition. It was previously folded and subsequently laid flat for many year. There is a tear at the top center of the poster down the fold line. As can be seen in the image, it is barely noticeable. Linen-backing (cost c. $100 USD) this poster would fix this issue permanently. However, if framed as is, it will display excellently without any restoration. Please refer to the imagery (both front and back) as this is the exact poster that is for sale.
