Akira Kurosawa is a well-known director for his mind bobbling amazing samurai films, however he was far from a one trick pony. Kurosawa also had an incredible talent for concocting modern thrillers that are timeless.
High & Low stars Kurosawa’s brother-from-another-mother, Toshiro Mifune, as Kingo Gondo, a wealthy business exec (erai hito 偉い人)who is targeted by a ice cold kidnapper! Kurosawa has again successfully adapted a foreign film basing this on Ed McBain’s detective novel “King’s Ransom”.
For the fantastically rare chance to find this, a Certificate of Authenticity is included.
