This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1978 for Gatchaman The Movie (科学忍者隊ガッチャマン), released by Tatsunoko Productions as a feature-length adaptation compiling story arcs from the landmark television series. Known to overseas audiences as Battle of the Planets, Gatchaman is one of the most influential anime franchises of the 1970s, inspiring future team-based superhero and sci-fi series worldwide.
The poster design features team leader Ken the Eagle in full heroic stance with his distinctive red cape wings spread, set against a cosmic backdrop of satellites, spacecraft, and an incoming fleet. At the bottom margin, the printed English tagline reads:
