This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1958 for the original first release of Equinox Flower.
This poster is ultra rare and directed by one of Japan`s most celebrated directors - Yasujirō Ozu.
It's 1950s Tokyo, and an old-fashioned father (Shin Saburi) disapproves of his eldest daughter's impulsive choice of a husband in this "home drama" from director Yasujiro Ozu, using color for the first time. Change is inevitable, and Ozu does a masterful job of portraying the angst of a father struggling to embrace more modern ways.
It is over 66 years old!
