This is an original Japanese record-shop poster printed in 2022 to advertise the 45th-anniversary deluxe re-issue of Destroyer (1976) and KISS’s added Budōkan concert date on 4 April. The design reprises Ken Kelly’s iconic 1977 Japan-tour artwork—Gene, Paul, Ace, and Peter striding across a blast-lit skyline—framed by a cream banner that highlights the 2-CD set (UICY-79756/8, ¥3 960) and proudly stamped “NOT FOR SALE” at lower left.
Destroyer was KISS’s fourth studio album, produced by Bob Ezrin and featuring classics such as “Detroit Rock City,” “Shout It Out Loud,” and the band’s breakthrough ballad “Beth.” The 45th-anniversary edition remastered the original tapes and added unreleased demos, live tracks, and alternate mixes, reaffirming the album’s place as one of the defining statements of 1970s hard rock.
