This is an original Japanese poster from the release of North by Northwest.
This is our only final copy in stock and we doubt that another will surface for a very long time.
It is the first time we have seen this poster in Japan and believe that it has not sold in any of the major western auctions. This poster was purchased along with a wider collection including many Alfred Hitchcock, not only did this collector have seriously good taste, most if not all of his almost 70 year old posters are in an incredible near mint condition.
North by Northwest is a 1959 American spy thriller film, produced and directed by Alfred Hitchcock and starring Cary Grant, Eva Marie Saint and James Mason. The screenplay was by Ernest Lehman, who wanted to write "the Hitchcock picture to end all Hitchcock pictures"
