Sale price $125.00

This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1985 for the first theatrical release of Fright Night, Tom Holland’s cult horror classic.

Fright Night is a horror-comedy that reimagines the vampire genre for the 1980s. The film follows Charley Brewster (William Ragsdale), a teenager who discovers his new neighbor Jerry Dandrige (Chris Sarandon) is a vampire. When no one believes him, Charley turns to eccentric TV horror host Peter Vincent (Roddy McDowall) to confront the undead threat. Blending traditional gothic horror with suburban satire, the film became an instant hit, praised for its inventive practical effects, humor, and tension. It remains a cult favorite today, with a devoted fan base and lasting influence on modern vampire cinema.

Poster design
The Japanese B2 poster features one of the most iconic horror images of the 1980s: a monstrous vampire face formed from swirling night clouds looming over a suburban house, with a lone figure silhouetted in the window below. The composition captures the perfect blend of terror and atmosphere, with the bold red Japanese title 「フライトナイト」 anchoring the design.
