This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1979 for Alan Parker’s searing true-story drama Midnight Express, adapted by Oliver Stone from Billy Hayes’s memoir and starring Brad Davis, John Hurt, and Randy Quaid. A critical and cultural flashpoint of the late 1970s, the film won two Academy Awards (Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Original Score by Giorgio Moroder) and remains a landmark of prison and escape cinema.

Design
