This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster for Snatch, Guy Ritchie’s 2000 British crime comedy set in the London underworld. Fronted by Jason Statham, Brad Pitt, Benicio del Toro and an ensemble of rogues, the film intertwines a stolen 86‑carat diamond with bare‑knuckle boxing, gangsters and extremely unlucky small‑time crooks. 

Film background
Two main threads drive the story: boxing promoter Turkish and his partner Tommy get in way over their heads with ruthless mobster Brick Top, while diamond courier Franky Four Fingers loses his prize stone in London, sparking a free‑for‑all chase among thieves, loan sharks and hitmen. Ritchie’s fast cutting, overlapping dialogue and dark humour turned Snatch into a cult favourite and cemented his signature “geezer noir” style. 

Poster design
The Japanese B2 is gloriously loud. A flat, saturated red background frames the seven principal crooks lined up in full‑length: from snappily dressed Turkish and Tommy to Pitt’s tracksuit‑and‑hat gypsy boxer Mickey, with the hulking Tyrone and Bullet‑Tooth Tony anchoring the ends. A black Japanese tagline sprawls across the top, while two diagonal yellow “crime scene” strips of Japanese copy slash across the lower half, pointing down toward the bold white “snatch” logo and the katakana title 「スナッチ」. Front and centre sits the film’s most innocent character—a small black‑and‑white dog—on a matching red floor, completing the poster’s graphic, comic‑book energy.
