This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed in 1981 for the first Japanese release of The Cannonball Run (キャノンボール), the all-star action-comedy built around a wildly illegal cross-country road race. Starring Burt Reynolds alongside a stacked ensemble that includes Roger Moore, Farrah Fawcett, Jackie Chan, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Dom DeLuise, and more, it’s pure early-’80s big-screen entertainment—fast cars, celebrity cameos, and stunt-driven chaos.

Design
A quintessential hand-painted “all-cast” montage: Reynolds, Chan, and Moore loom large above the central figure of Farrah Fawcett in bright pink, surrounded by character vignettes, aircraft and stunt action, and a line of speeding cars tearing across the bottom. The huge red Japanese title 「キャノンボール」 dominates the lower field with enormous wall presence, while the top copy sells the scale of the “5,000km” race across America—classic Japanese marketing for American blockbuster comedy of the era.
