This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1992 for the first Japanese theatrical run of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (Japanese title: ツイン・ピークス／ローラ・パーマー最期の７日間).

The design presents a haunting montage: Laura Palmer’s plastic-bound face floats in icy blue at the top, while the lower vignette shows the killer’s gloved hand sliding a letter beneath a fingernail—an image burned into the minds of Twin Peaks fans. Stark black background, distressed golden title type and blood-red Japanese logo evoke the series’ mix of noir and surreal horror.

Lynch’s prequel explores Laura’s final week before the events of the landmark TV series, delving into themes of trauma, duality and small-town darkness. Though divisive on release, the film has since been reassessed as a vital, harrowing extension of the Twin Peaks mythos.
