This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed in 1975 for the first Japanese release of Young Frankenstein (ヤング・フランケンシュタイン), Mel Brooks’ beloved horror-comedy classic.

Starring Gene Wilder (who also co-wrote the screenplay with Brooks) alongside Peter Boyle, Marty Feldman, Cloris Leachman, Teri Garr, Madeline Kahn, and Kenneth Mars, the film is a brilliant parody and loving tribute to the Universal Frankenstein cycle—shot in evocative black-and-white and packed with some of the most iconic gags in comedy history.

Poster design
A sensational, highly collectible Japanese design based on the classic U.S. illustrated one-sheet: the “YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN” title carved in stone dominates the centre, flanked by wild character portraits—Gene Wilder’s manic-eyed doctor at left and the monster at right—set against a gothic castle and stormy sky.
