This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1995 to promote Sailor Moon SuperS (美少女戦士セーラームーンSuperS), the fourth television series of Naoko Takeuchi’s magical-girl saga. Broadcast on TV Asahi from March 1995 to March 1996, SuperS spotlights Chibi-Usa’s coming-of-age as Super Chibimoon and her dream-bound bond with the mysterious winged stallion Pegasus/Helios. The Dead Moon Circus—headed by Queen Nehelenia and ring-master Zirconia—invades Tokyo to harvest beautiful dreams and seize the Golden Crystal, forcing Usagi, Chibi-Usa, and the Inner Guardians to unlock new “Super” forms and the legendary Moon Gorgeous Meditation attack.
