It is the third entry in the Lupin the IIIrd anime film series and serves as a sequel to Daisuke Jigen’s Gravestone. Directed by Takeshi Koike, this darker and more violent reimagining of the classic characters focuses on Goemon’s path to becoming the master swordsman of the Lupin gang.
