This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1964 for the first theatrical release of Our Blood Will Not Forgive.
Our Blood Will Not Forgive is a 1964 color Nikkatsu Action masterpiece directed by Seijun Suzuki and starring Akira Kobayashi and Hideki Takahashi as brothers Joji and Tadashi Tachibana. When they discover that their tattoo-covered father was murdered by a Tokyo gambling syndicate, the siblings plunge into the city’s neon underworld to exact revenge. Suzuki’s virtuoso widescreen compositions, jazzy score, and bursts of expressionistic violence elevate the yakuza-revenge formula, foreshadowing the stylistic flair that would later define Tokyo Drifter and Branded to Kill. Long celebrated by cult-cinema historians, the film stands as a golden-age Nikkatsu gangland classic.
