This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1964 for Cy Endfield’s epic war drama Zulu, starring Stanley Baker, Jack Hawkins, Michael Caine (in his breakout role), James Booth, and Ulla Jacobsson. Recreating the 1879 Battle of Rorke’s Drift, the film is famed for its sweeping location photography in the Drakensberg, massed-shield formations, and rousing score by John Barry—a benchmark of large-scale historical cinema.

Design
A powerful, sky-blue composition dominated by the giant, patterned title 「ズル戦争」 (Zulu War). A leaping Zulu warrior with ox-hide shield cuts across the center while British redcoats and Zulu regiments clash across the valley floor. At right, a vertical portrait strip spotlights key cast members. The Paramount mark and Japanese credits anchor the base, confirming first-issue provenance.
