This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed in 1984 for the first-release cinema edition of Sherlock Hound—a theatrical compilation of two episodes, “The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle” and “Treasure Under the Sea”, released in Japan on 11 March 1984 (Toei).

The film is famously associated with Hayao Miyazaki, who directed this theatrical cut, with Sunao Katabuchi (片渕須直) credited for the script.

Design
