"The Cop in Blue Jeans" (暴走ひったくり750 / Squadra Antiscippo), Original Japanese Release Movie Poster 1976, B2 Size (51 × 73 cm) ZA806
This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed for the first Japanese release (4 December 1976) of Squadra Antiscippo—released in Japan as 暴走ひったくり750 (literally, “Runaway Snatchers 750”). Directed by Bruno Corbucci, the film stars Tomas Milian as undercover cop Nico Giraldi, alongside Jack Palance as the American mastermind behind a Rome theft ring.
Design
A full-throttle, Showa-era action blast: the poster sells the film’s bike-and-chase energy with a giant, motion-smeared motorcycle leap rendered in aggressive red/orange speed streaks, backed by a hard, looming portrait of Milian. The upper copy shouts the hook—「轟音(ナナハン)が突っ走る!」—while the lower band stacks additional set-pieces (bike stunts, collisions, pursuit imagery) over the bold title 暴走ひったくり750, with the Italian title SQUADRA ANTISCIPPO printed beneath—an irresistible example of how Japanese marketing “supercharged” European crime cinema in the 1970s.
