This is an original Japanese B2 promotional poster produced to publicize the release of the soundtrack album 交響組曲AKIRA / Symphonic Suite AKIRA by 芸能山城組 (Geinoh Yamashirogumi)—created for music‑trade / record‑store display rather than as a standard theatrical movie B2. The striking illustration itself is documented as being drawn by Katsuhiro Otomo (大友克洋) specifically for a soundtrack promotional poster.
