"Kiki’s Delivery Service", Original Japanese Home-Video Release Promotional Poster 1997, B2 Size (51 × 73 cm) O298

This is an original Japanese B2 promotional poster issued on 11/21/1997 for the limited “Ghibli ga Ippai COLLECTION ④” VHS release of Hayao Miyazaki’s Kiki’s Delivery Service (魔女の宅急便). Produced by Studio Ghibli and distributed by Buena Vista Home Entertainment Japan, this campaign edition advertised the time-limited manufacturing run (through Dec 31, 1997) and first-press bonus video content with the director discussing Kiki.

Poster design
A clean, cream-ground layout featuring Kiki in watercolor style with her signature red ribbon, rendered exactly as on the VHS jacket art. To the right runs the beloved line: 「おちこんだりもしたけれど、私はげんきです。」 (“I’ve had some downs, but I’m doing just fine.”). The lower band carries bold release copy—「ビデオで 11・21 新発売」—with price and campaign notes. Credits/rights for Kadono Eiko・Studio Ghibli print small at lower right.
