“Porco Rosso” (紅の豚 / KURENAI-NO-BUTA), Original Japanese Promotional Poster 1992, B2 Size (51 × 73 cm) O224

Sale price $150.00

This is an original Japanese B2 promotional poster printed in 1992 and licensed by Studio Ghibli / Tokuma (credit line on lower border: © 二馬力・TNNG / 1992 · MOVIC). Issued around the film’s launch window as an official goods/tie-in poster sold in Japan—highly collectible and scarcer than the standard theatre sheets.

Film background
Hayao Miyazaki’s interwar adventure follows Porco, the chivalrous ex-ace cursed with a pig’s face, as he duels sky pirates over the Adriatic and rediscovers purpose through Fio and Gina. A box-office hit in Japan, it remains one of Studio Ghibli’s most beloved aviation romances.

Poster design
A joyous sky-blue composition: Porco stands center in flight gear against cotton clouds while an armada of fantastical seaplanes wheels around him. The flowing red script “Porco Rosso” and Italian captioning underline the film’s Mediterranean setting. Bright, airy colours and crisp character art make this a perfect display piece.

Condition
This poster is in very good / excellent condition with minor handling only—light surface waves/handling bends and small edge touches visible on close inspection. Please review the photos (front and details); they show the exact poster for sale.
