This is an original Japanese rolled poster printed in 1947 for the first release of My Darling Clementine.
My Darling Clementine is not only the best western by the best director of westerns, but it is arguably the best film in Ford's long and distinguished career.
John Ford tackled one of the Wild West's greatest legends when he cast Henry Fonda as Wyatt Earp and Victor Mature as Doc Holliday to recreate the infamous shootout at the OK Corral. Although the film took great liberties with historical facts, Ford claimed that he actually met with Earp before his death in 1929 and filmed the shootout as described by Earp.
