“The Fuller Report”, Original Release Japanese Movie Poster 1970 (film 1969), B2 Size (51 × 73 cm) ZA29
This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed for the first Japanese cinema release of The Fuller Report (Italian title: Rapporto Fuller, base Stoccolma), released in Japan under the title スピードは俺の稼業. The Japanese theatrical release date is recorded as 12 September 1970.
This slick late-1960s Eurospy action-thriller was directed by Sergio Grieco (credited internationally as Terence Hathaway) and stars Ken Clark and Beba Lončar, mixing car-chase energy with Cold War espionage intrigue—very much in the Bond-inspired “Eurospy” wave of the era.
Poster design
A superb, dynamic Japanese photomontage design: the huge red katakana title スピードは俺の稼業 cuts vertically through the composition, with action imagery (gunplay, a car launched into the air, helicopter, and hard-boiled faces) set against a pale field. The English title THE FULLER REPORT appears in the artwork, and the sheet carries the period Eirin mark at lower right—an outstanding display piece of late-60s/early-70s Japanese action poster design.
