This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1994 for the first domestic theatrical release of A Bronx Tale (USA, 1993), the directorial debut of Robert De Niro, starring Chazz Palminteri, Robert De Niro, and Lillo Brancato. First-issue Japanese country sheets for 1990s American crime dramas are highly collectible.

Film background
Growing up in 1960s Belmont, young Calogero is torn between the hard-working morality of his father (De Niro) and the seductive power of neighborhood boss Sonny (Palminteri). Adapted from Palminteri’s one-man play, the film is a coming-of-age story about loyalty, prejudice, and choice on streets shadowed by the mob.

Poster design
