This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1994 for the first domestic theatrical release of Carlito’s Way (USA, 1993), directed by Brian De Palma and starring Al Pacino, Sean Penn, and Penelope Ann Miller. First-issue Japanese country sheets for 1990s American crime dramas are highly collectible.

Film background
Fresh out of prison and determined to go straight, Puerto Rican ex–drug kingpin Carlito Brigante tries to escape the pull of New York’s underworld and rekindle a romance with Gail—only to be dragged back by old loyalties and his reckless lawyer Kleinfeld. De Palma’s stylish tragedy features a career-highlight performance from Pacino and a propulsive score by Patrick Doyle.
