This is an original Japanese B2 poster for Dobermann (ドーベルマン), Jan Kounen’s ferocious, hyper-stylised French crime-action film (1997), starring Vincent Cassel, Monica Bellucci, and Tchéky Karyo—a cult classic of late-’90s European genre cinema with a relentless “trance-movie” pace and attitude.
Design
A pure adrenaline hit in poster form: a blood-red field detonates into radiating beams as Cassel dominates the centre frame—gun raised—flanked by Bellucci in black leather with a heavy weapon and Karyo looming to the left. The supporting gang members burst out from the edges, while the entire composition is mirrored in a striking upside-down reflection below, doubling the chaos and momentum. At the top, the bold copy screams 「エクスタシーが加速する。」 (“Ecstasy accelerates.”), perfectly matched by the jagged, metallic yellow katakana title 「ドーベルマン」 slashing across the centre—loud, graphic, and unmistakably late-’90s.
