This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed in 1994 for Wim Wenders’ Lisbon Story—a beautifully reflective, music-soaked film about cinema itself, memory, and the act of looking. Starring Rüdiger Vogler (Wenders’ long-time collaborator), the story follows a sound engineer who arrives in Lisbon to help a director friend, only to drift into the city’s rhythms—streets, light, fragments, and encounters—where film and life begin to blur.

Made in the wake of Wenders’ return to Europe, Lisbon Story is often described as a love letter to Lisbon: part gentle narrative, part city-portrait, and part meditation on image and sound.
