This is an original Japanese B0 theatrical billboard poster for the 1960 first release in Japan of Sois Belle et Tais-Toi (Be Beautiful But Shut Up), the 1958 French crime-comedy directed by Marc Allégret.

Featuring a star-studded cast—Alain Delon, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Henri Vidal, and Mylène Demongeot—this film is a glamorous, flirtatious Parisian caper that combines comedy, crime, and romance in perfect measure. This early performance by two future legends of French cinema, Delon and Belmondo, makes the film a standout of postwar French pop culture.

This massive B0 size poster (92 x 150 cm) was used for front-of-theater displays in Japan and is exceedingly rare, especially as a first-release edition. Japanese B0s were typically discarded after use, making surviving examples exceptionally hard to find, particularly in such very fine condition.

The artwork is striking—brightly colored, uniquely stylized for the Japanese market, and featuring bold type and portraits of the main cast. The poster has been folded as issued and remains unrestored and original.

A must-have for collectors of French New Wave, Alain Delon, or rare international cinema ephemera.

Certificate of Authenticity included.
