This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1977 for the first theatrical release of House (ハウス), directed by Nobuhiko Obayashi and distributed by Toho. A surreal horror-comedy blending experimental visuals with pop-culture sensibilities, House has since become a cult classic and a defining example of 1970s Japanese genre cinema.

Poster design

The poster features a frenetic collage of stills from the film: schoolgirls confronting supernatural forces in a haunted mansion, disembodied apparitions, and the infamous piano sequence.
