This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1997 for the first theatrical release of Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth, the feature compilation/preview directed by Hideaki Anno and produced by Gainax (with Production I.G). The film pairs Death—a re-edited symphonic recap of the TV series—with Rebirth, the first act of the concluding story that would become The End of Evangelion. Music by Shirō Sagisu.

Design
A wall of urgent crimson and black type surges around a collage of the series’ icons: Shinji with EVA-01 looming, a spectral nude Rei outstretched at center, Asuka in Unit-02 gear, Misato with pistol, and Gendō behind steepled hands.
