"Pulp Fiction", Original LaserDisc Release Japanese Movie Poster 1994, B2 Size (51 x 73cm) N52

This is an original Japanese poster printed in 1995 to promote the first domestic LaserDisc release of Pulp Fiction (パルプ・フィクション), on sale 10 March 1995 for ¥5,700 (wide / TV-size editions).

Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 neo-noir earned the Palme d’Or at Cannes and revitalised indie cinema with its non-linear storytelling, pop-culture dialogue and eclectic soundtrack. Starring John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman and Bruce Willis, the film won an Academy Award® for Best Original Screenplay and became a touchstone of 1990s culture.

Printed in standard B2 theatrical format, this retail display features:

• Dominant portrait of Bruce Willis (Butch) set against the film’s muted title typography.

• Classic “Mia on the bed” image centred below, flanked by Samuel L. Jackson and grainy stills of key characters in a vertical strip.

• Bold red Japanese logotype パルプ・フィクション above a white oval highlighting the LaserDisc 3/10 on sale date and price.

• Credit block listing Tarantino as writer-director and principal cast, plus Amuse Video / Pioneer LDC branding and ©1994 Miramax copyright.

These shop-front LaserDisc posters were printed in limited numbers and displayed briefly in stores, making surviving examples far scarcer than theatrical B2s.
