This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed for the Japanese release of Serpico, Sidney Lumet’s 1973 crime drama based on the true story of NYPD officer Frank Serpico. Al Pacino delivers one of his signature performances as the idealistic cop who risks his life to expose systemic corruption inside the police force.

Film background
Drawn from Peter Maas’s bestseller, Serpico became a touchstone of 1970s American cinema—gritty, politically charged and character‑driven. Lumet’s location shooting in New York and Pacino’s committed portrayal of a man increasingly isolated from his peers helped define the decade’s new realist crime films and earned the actor an Academy Award nomination.

The Japanese B2 balances star portraiture with urban action.
