“Tom and Jerry’s Great March” (トムとジェリーの大行進), Original Japanese Theatrical Poster 1963, B2 Size (51 × 73 cm) O587

Sale price $400.00

This is an original Japanese B2 theatrical poster printed in 1963 for the Japanese cinema compilation release 「トムとジェリーの大行進」—a program that assembled 11 Tom and Jerry shorts from the Hanna‑Barbera era, distributed in Japan by Shochiku Eihai (松竹映配).

Tom and Jerry’s popularity hardly needs selling: the duo’s slapstick chaos is one of animation’s most durable global “brands,” and classic theatrical programs like this have become especially prized by collectors because they represent the cinema‑era way audiences originally experienced these cartoons—big screen, big laughs, and maximum colour.

Poster design
A classic, exuberant Japanese cartoon‑poster layout: oversized character heads and expressive poses, bright flat colour, and playful vignette gags scattered across the composition. The bold diagonal title lettering gives it that unmistakable 1960s “kid‑friendly spectacle” energy—an instant wall‑piece for animation fans.
