“Dragon Ball Z: The World’s Strongest” (ドラゴンボールZ この世で一番強いヤツ), Original First Release Japanese Toei Anime Matsuri Poster 1990, B1 Size (c. 71 × 103 cm)

Sale price $300.00

This is an original Japanese B1 theatrical poster printed in 1993 for the first release of “Dragon Ball Z: The World’s Strongest” (ドラゴンボールZ この世で一番強いヤツ), released in Japan on March 10, 1990. The very large B1 format is much rarer than the standard B2 size and is highly collectible—especially for early DBZ theatrical material. The movie itself is a major early DBZ theatrical entry, directed by Daisuke Nishio (西尾大介), with the Japanese release/credit details commonly recorded in film databases.

The artwork is classic early-era DBZ: Gohan bursts forward with Krillin and Goku behind him, while Shenron coils overhead—capturing the bright, adventurous tone of the period. The poster features multiple taglines and event branding, including the festival mark 「90春 東映アニメまつり」 and the film’s famous catchcopy:
「悟空、悟飯!!謎のツルマイツブリ山へ向かえ!!」
It also includes the energetic callout on the left side:
「大地よ 海よ・・・オラにちょっとだけ元気をわけてくれ!!」
(“Earth! Sea! …Share just a little bit of your energy with me!!”)

Along the bottom, the poster showcases the co-feature titles, making this a highly displayable festival-format piece rather than a single-title design.
