This is an original Japanese B2 poster printed in 1987 for Dragon Ball: Sleeping Princess in Devil’s Castle, the second Dragon Ball film, premiered July 18, 1987 at the Toei Cartoon Festival alongside Saint Seiya, Hikari Sentai Maskman, and Chōjinki Metalder. A holy grail for Dragon Ball collectors—first-issue theatrical paper from this title is scarce, especially in this outstanding condition.
Design
Instantly recognizable late-’80s Toei style: a deep-black cavern framed by a bright pink festival border with the 東映まんがまつり badge at upper left. Goku and Krillin charge across a heap of chattering monsters while Bulma, Launch, and friends scramble behind; the looming demonic face and yawning mouth form the cave entrance. The blocky DRAGON BALL wordmark anchors the lower field above the Japanese title cartouche—colourful, kinetic, and display-ready.
Condition
Excellent (close to near mint). Please review the photos—they show the exact poster for sale.
